Seeking a BC/BE Neurologist- for a hospital employed position. A recent retirement of the only neurologist in the community has created this vacancy. The previous specialist performed 126 EEG’s in 2009, 20 EMG’s per week and saw 20 patients per day in the office. The call schedule would be 10 days per month. Patients are currently traveling to neighboring cities where there is a wait list for new patients. The hospital will provide all of the practice support for a new practitioner.

This is a 131 bed not-for-profit community facility. There are over 200 members on the medical staff. Various departments include: Inpatient Senior Behavioral Health Unit, 80 bed residential healthcare facility, Sleep Center, Lab, X-Ray, CT scan, MRI, 4 OR’s, ICU, and 2- Med/Surgical Units.

The community is located at the foot of the Adirondacks in central New York. The area boasts four season recreational activities. There is a lake just 10 minutes outside of town and the Finger Lake region is less than an hour’s drive.
